Lohra Miller, Chief Executive Officer
Lohra Miller founded Turning Point Justice following a 20-year career in the criminal justice system. Through her experience as a prosecutor and District Attorney, Ms. Miller saw that cloud technology can serve the justice and retail communities to offer solutions for handling misdemeanor offenders while streamlining efficiency to preserve private and public resources. Prior to launching TPJ in 2012, Ms. Miller served as a prosecutor for over 20 years and was the prior elected District Attorney of Salt Lake County, Utah. During her tenure as district attorney, Ms. Miller was elected to serve as Vice President of the National District Attorney's Association and appointed to be the Co-chair of the American Bar Association's Ethics and Professionalism Committee. Her work with NDAA and the ABA emphasized criminal justice reform efforts to improve the effectiveness of the criminal justice system. Ms. Miller speaks frequently at retail and law enforcement conferences nationwide, and holds a doctorate in Law from the Brigham Young University J. Ruben Clark Law School.
David Flynn, Chairman of the Board
David Flynn has been architecting disruptive computing platforms since his early work in supercomputing and Linux systems. He is an advisor to a number of early stage technology companies working to scale success amidst rapid growth. Co-founder of data virtualization startup Primary Data, Mr. Flynn pioneered the use of flash for enterprise application acceleration as founder and former CEO of Fusion-io. He designed several of the world’s fastest Infiniband and RDMA-based supercomputers. He was Chief Scientist and Engineering VP for Project BlackDog, and developed thin client solutions at Linux Networx and Network Computer Incorporated, a spin-off of Oracle Corporation. Mr. Flynn holds more than 100 patents across web browser technologies, mobile device management, network switching and protocols, to distributed storage systems.
Wayne Peck, Vice President of Engineering
Wayne Peck has over 20 years of experience building, architecting and managing the development of enterprise software products. He has served as the Vice President of Engineering at Turning Point Retail since July 2013. From 2006 to 2013, Mr. Peck served as the Director of Software Development at ProPay, a merchant services and data security company acquired by Total System Services (NYSE:TSS) in December of 2012. Mr. Peck served as Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead in the Blockbuster international product allocation and supply chain group from 2000 to 2006. From 1998 to 2000, he served as Senior Software Engineer at Brookline, a back office provider to the Direct Marketing Industry. Mr. Peck holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Weber State University and an MBA from the University of Utah.
Clint Lord, Enterprise Architect
Clint Lord has more than 17 years of experience in the software development industry. Mr. Lord joined the founding team of Turning Point Justice as the Enterprise Architect in 2013. From 2007 to 2013, Mr. Lord then served as the Senior Solutions Architect at ProPay, a merchant services and data security company acquired by Total System Services (NYSE:TSS). He served as the Director of Software Development at nCoat, a nanotechnology coatings company, from 2004 to 2007. Mr. Lord served as the Vice President of Research and Development at TelNetZ, a telecommunications company, from 2000 to 2004, and from 1997 to 2000, Mr. Lord served as a Senior Software Developer and later as Software Development Manager at Brookline Technologies, a back office provider to the Direct Marketing industry.
David Levenberg, VP of Business Development
David Levenberg has managed and participated in the design and implementation of loss prevention and public safety programs in both retail and shopping center properties nationally and internationally for more than three decades. As Director of Field Operations for Turning Point Justice, he is responsible for guiding program implementation, training, client relations and operations. Prior to joining TPJ in 2012, Mr. Levenberg was responsible for the public safety, loss prevention and emergency planning programs for over 300 regional and super regional shopping centers across the United States. He has held a number of field and corporate loss prevention positions for Sears and Target stores, and has consulted across Europe, South and Central America. Mr. Levenberg has lectured for the International Council of Shopping Centers, the American Society for Industrial Security, as well as other professional and trade organizations.
Paul Lunt, Retail Advisor
Loss prevention industry veteran Paul Lunt is Retail Advisory Director at Turning Point Justice, where he serves retailers integrating TPJ Cloud Justice technology into their theft prevention programs. With nearly 30 years of loss prevention experience, Lunt has served in executive leadership roles at Loehmanns, Finlay Enterprises, Footlocker, Staples and Filene’s Department Stores. Throughout his career, Lunt has focused on cost efficient solutions that minimize risk and shrinkage for retailers.
